Workshops That Actually Shift How Teams Work

All sessions are rooted in science, grounded in play, and delivered with deep respect for how adults learn, lead, and connect.

Let’s find the right fit for your team—or co-create one together.

Permission to Play: Motivation, Resilience, and the Science of Joyful Work

Description:
If we have learned anything since 2021, it’s that burnout isn’t solved with pizza parties or forced fun. This workshop breaks down what play really means (hint: it’s not fun and games) and how it drives intrinsic motivation, creativity, and well-being. We’ll look at the eight characteristics of play, explore its neurological impact, and invite participants to discover what playful work can look like for them.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Define play as a powerful tool for motivation and energy

  • Identify barriers to play (internal & systemic)

  • Learn to reframe tasks through playful engagement

  • Explore how play supports equity, resilience, and belonging

The Failure Advantage: Turning Mistakes Into Momentum

Description:
Failure sucks. But it can also spark! In this workshop, we’ll reframe how teams and leaders approach failure: not as shame or setback, but as an essential ingredient for growth, creativity, and learning. Through story, science, and strategy, we’ll explore what really happens in the brain during failure, and how to build cultures where people feel safe enough to take risks that lead to real breakthroughs.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Reframe failure as a learning tool rather than a performance flaw

  • Understand the connection between psychological safety and innovation

  • Build individual and team-level strategies for debriefing and moving forward after setbacks

  • Practice tools that support resilience and experimentation

The Power of Flow: Cultivating Peak Performance and Presence

Description:
Flow isn't woo-woo…it’s brain science. This workshop explores the four-phase flow cycle (Struggle, Release, Flow, Recovery) and how to navigate burnout, boost focus, and tap into sustainable momentum. We’ll mix neuroscience with real-life application so participants leave knowing how to shift out of burnout and into momentum.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify the four stages of the flow cycle and their neurological impact

  • Apply techniques to reduce friction and increase focus

  • Understand individual flow triggers and barriers

  • Practice small, playful habits that lead to sustained flow and motivation

The Playful Team: Leveraging Personal Play Identities for Collaboration and Energy

Description:
Forget awkward team-building. This session introduces the scientifically-validated four Personal Play Identities (Relational, Lighthearted, Intellectual, Whimsical) to help teams better understand how they each communicate, contribute, and reset. This is about interpersonal awareness, not personality tests.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify your own Play Identity and how it shows up at work

  • Recognize and celebrate others’ play styles and needs

  • Practice trust-building through playful collaboration

  • Create team norms that support communication and recharge

FlowPrint: Making the Invisible Visible at Work

Description:
This session turns invisible tension into visible insight. Employees map their individual and collective work styles using the FlowPrint framework exploring feedback preferences, energy rhythms, reset needs, and friction points. This allows folks to see each other clearly.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Complete a personal FlowPrint

  • Share and reflect to build team-level understanding

  • Spot patterns that affect collaboration, trust, and timing

  • Create shared working agreements based on needs

Playful Women in History: Celebrating Rebellion, Joy, & Creative Resistance

We explore how curiosity, humor, and irreverence have fueled resistance, leadership, and cultural impact.
